What's up Golfers? This is my first blog to let you know who I am and why I decided to create my own blogging website.
First off, my real name is Nick, not Bogey Fett, although I've been called many names in my day, most are not worth repeating or that I'm proud of. I'm also not a "real" Mandalorian/Sandalorian, as they are not real, either, just characters from Star Wars. I have a Yoda head cover, I use the force, and I do love Star Wars. Truth be told, I'm just your average dude...dad-bod built, devilishly handsome, and an average golfer that loves to play. I've got 2 awesome, fun, sweet, buck-wild, beautiful kids and a brilliant, stupid-fine wife. Don't know how I pulled her in, but I'm just counting my blessings.
I guess if you're still reading this then you're an avid golfer, like myself. I love the game and everything about it. Matter of fact, golf is probably my only real hobby, unless you consider playing with kids, or making sure my couch doesn't float away a hobby. I like to fish, but put me on the course and I'll get butterflies in my tummy.
I've been playing golf hard-core for about 5-6 years. Yes, I've played before then, but I've really just started playing it now on a consistent basis. I love going to new courses, meeting new people, and sharing my experiences with others about golf. All of these are reasons why I'm starting my own golf blog. I'm hoping to reach other golfers, good and bad, to share in experiences that we both may have had. In the future, I'll be sharing my own articles, golfing news, and my experiences while detailing the courses I've been fortunate, or some days not so fortunate, to play. I want to create a forum for golfers of all kinds, scratch to terrible, to be able to discuss the ups and downs of the greatest game ever played.
